From Cap-Coz to Mousterlin<\/strong>, via Beg-Meil<\/strong>, Fouesnant boasts a wide variety of beaches, from long stretches to small coves. Fouesnant is also famous for its apples and cider, which are renowned throughout Brittany. Cap-Coz<\/h2>\n\n

The Cap-Coz<\/strong> sand spit protects the port of Port-La-For\u00eat and the Penfoulic cove<\/strong>. Its stretch of sand at the head of Concarneau<\/a> Bay makes it a very pleasant family beach for swimming and fishing at low tide.Penfoulic cove<\/strong> is home to many unusual birds and magnificent flora and fauna. <\/p>\n\n

Beg-Meil<\/h2>\n\n

Beg-Meil<\/strong>: La pointe du Moulin in Breton. The pointe de Beg-Meil, opposite the pointe de Tr\u00e9vignon<\/a>, marks the entrance to Concarneau Bay. Its mill has been replaced by the semaphore. This very active semaphore is responsible for safeguarding and defending the sea and airspace. Beg-Meil has a number of pretty, rather confidential coves that can be explored along the coastal path or by kayak. You can also discover some beautiful villas along the GR 34<\/a>. <\/p>\n\n

Mousterlin<\/h2>\n\n

The Pointe de Mousterlin<\/strong>, a barrier beach facing the sea, is a protected site. Situated between the pointe de Beg-Meil and the mer blanche of B\u00e9nodet, this part of Fouesnant<\/strong> is famous for its beaches, marshes and the “Polder de Mousterlin”. <\/p>\n\n

Downtown<\/h2>\n\n

Fouesnant’s town center, just a few kilometers from the beaches, is a pleasant place to stroll around. You’ll find a number of artisanal stores. <\/p>\n\n
