La For\u00eat Fouesnant<\/strong> borders our Concarneau campsite<\/a>. This commune is renowned for its large marina. <\/p>\n\n

The marina<\/h2>\n\n

Located at the head of Concarneau Bay<\/strong>, Port-La-For\u00eat<\/strong> is one of Brittany’s largest ports. Some of the world’s greatest sailors train here<\/strong>: Fran\u00e7ois Gabart, Samantha Davies, Michel Desjoyeaux, Armel Le Cl\u00e9ac’h, Jean Le Cam… You’ll also find Imocas, the 60-foot yachts that sail around the world.<\/p>\n\n

Beaches and the GR34<\/h2>\n\n

The coastal path also runs alongside the commune of La For\u00eat-Fouesnant<\/strong>. It’s a very pleasant walk, taking in the Saint-Laurent cove, Kerl\u00e9ven beach, the marina and the Cornouaille golf course overlooking the Penfoulic cove. <\/p>\n\n

In La For\u00eat-Fouesnant<\/strong> you will find fish ponds where you can buy your mussels, oysters, shellfish and crustaceans directly<\/strong>.Weekly markets<\/a>:Sunday morning: Place de la Baie from 8amTuesday evening (in July and August): night market Esplanade de Port-La-For\u00eat from 6pm<\/p>\n\n

The Cornouaille golf course<\/strong><\/a>The Cornouaille golf course, on the edge of the bay of La For\u00eat-Fouesnant, is an 18-hole course designed by Fred and Martin Hawtree. Its exceptional location and friendly clubhouse make it a favorite among golfers in the west of France. <\/p>\n\n

For top-of-the-range camping near La For\u00eat Fouesnant<\/strong><\/a>you’ll find Le Cabellou Plage campsite. Access to La For\u00eat Fouesnant and Port la For\u00eat from the campsite is very quick, as we’re only 10 km away. You’ll be there in less than 15 minutes by car. <\/p>\n\n
